Died: 10th Century.

Famous for: Intellectual, mathematician, and poet.

Contribution:

Manuscript copyist for the library of Al-Hakam II.

Lubna was also in charge of the Library of Cordoba.

She was the driving force behind the creation of the famous library of Medina Azahara.

Honor

Cordoba named one of its streets for “Lubna the Scribe” in 2019.
