Nusaybah Bint Ka’ab نَسيبة بنت كعب
Full Name: Nusaybah Bint Ka’ab Al Maziniyyah.
Arabic: نَسيبة بنت كعب
Other Names: Umm ʿAmmarah, Umm Umara, Umm Marah.
Origin: Makkah.
Died: 13th Hijri year and was buried in Al Baqi in Makkah.
Famous for: The First Woman Warrior in Islam.
Companion (Sahabiyyah) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Contribution:
Nusaybah and Umm Munee Asma bint ʿAmr bin ‘Adi were the only two women to personally pledge directly to the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the second pledge at Aqaba.
Took part in the Battle of Uhud.
She was present on a number of occasions, including the Treaty of Aqabah, Hudaybiyah, as well as the battles of Khaybar, and Hunayn.
